The TTPOA with the Corpus Christi SWAT team will be hosting a 50-hour Advanced SWAT Course October 21st-25th in Corpus Christi Texas.

The course begins at 8:00 am October 21st at the Corpus Christi Police Department Range located at 9601 Hearns Ferry Rd. off Carbon Plant Rd. at IH37 in Corpus Christi, TX.

Each training topic will be taught from experienced instructors from the Corpus Christi SWAT team. 

Topics Covered

• Team Leadership 
• Tactical Combatives
• Vehicle Assaults/ Bus Assaults
• Hostage Rescue/CQB
• Room Clearing
• Advanced Firearms 

Prerequisites

• Must have completed a Basic SWAT Course.
• This course will require a level of physical activity. Participants will be expected to participate during the physical drills and calisthenics included in this course.
• Bring a good attitude, open mind, and willingness to participate to the best of your ability.

Required Equipment

Bring ALL tactical equipment to include:

• Body armor
• Plate carriers
• Helmet
• Web-gear
• Eye and ear protection
• Gas mask
• Gloves
• Handheld light
• Knee and elbow pads
• Duty pistol (w/ weapon mounted light if possible and 4 magazines)
• 1,000 rounds of pistol ammo
• Duty rifle (w/ optic, sling, BUIS, and 4 magazines)
• 1,000 rounds of rifle ammo.

• 200 rounds of rifle and/or pistol sim ammo
