Jorge began his career in law enforcement in 2008 and has been with the Corpus Christi Police Dept. since 2011. After joining the CCPD SWAT Team in 2014 he became a sniper in 2016.  As a TCOLE instructor, he has served as an FTO and has taught numerous courses for his department. He has taught TTPOA  courses on shooting fundamentals, patrol rifle, building searches, active shooter, chemical munitions, impact munitions, and distraction devices. Jorge has served as an assistant instructor for TTPOA Basic SWAT, Advanced SWAT, and LE Sniper School. After promoting to the rank of Lieutenant, Jorge was assigned to supervisor of both the department's UAS (Drone) Program and SWAT team.
