Registration is now open for the 2026 TTPOA SWAT Competition. The event is capped at 50 teams this year, and a standby list will be available once registration is full.
TTPOA Executive Board has voted to lift the prior restriction on the Sig Sauer P320/M17/M18 platform for TTPOA-sponsored training and events.

We also encourage Pro Teams made up of TTPOA instructors who train our members to register and compete. Pro Teams are welcome to participate, but they are not eligible for prizes or trophies.
The TTPOA SWAT Competition is a FOUR-day event that brings together SWAT team members and active military personnel from across the United States. This team-oriented competition is designed to test communication, precision shooting, physical endurance, and tactical ability.
Several events will be blind, and teams will receive critical information only hours before those events begin. This format is intended to simulate real-world intelligence flow and the pressure of developing and executing a plan of action under time constraints.
The competition venue varies from city to city, as does the host agency. We will have a VENDOR SHOW on site, also TCOLE training credit will be awarded.
To compete, your team must all be TTPOA members.
Team requirements and fees:
Membership dues must be current.
Minimum team size: 5 members
Maximum team size: 6 members total, including one alternate
Team registration fee: $720
Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top overall teams.
Team members must be certified law enforcement officers, federal law enforcement officers, reserve officers, or active military personnel. All competitors must qualify for membership eligibility. Please see TTPOA membership information for full details.
Out-of-state and foreign teams are welcome. Teams have previously traveled from California, Florida, Idaho, Connecticut, Ukraine, and Kuwait to compete. First-time out-of-state teams may contact the Competition Director/Coordinator regarding promotional entry-fee options. In addition, out-of-state teams will have their TTPOA membership dues waived in recognition of the distance traveled to compete in Texas.
Each team will designate a Team Leader for competition week. The Team Leader will receive the packing list and additional instructions approximately 30 days prior to the event.
2026 TTPOA SWAT Competition RULES 26.1
Competition rules will be sent out to the registered teams.
TTPOA is moving to a points-per-stage scoring system. Under this format, the highest valid performance on each stage—based on time plus penalties—sets the standard and earns 100 points. Every other team’s score for that stage is determined by how close they are to that standard.
At the end of the match, each team’s points from all stages are combined to determine the overall standings.
Think of it as USPSA-style stage scoring logic: the best performance on a stage sets the mark, and everyone else is scored by how close they were to it.
Any special equipment needs will be sent out well in advance to registered teams.
