Police Performance Pistol (P3)-

This course is a combination and an evolution of the previous action pistol and LE pistol courses taught by CTT-Solutions. It is specifically taught from a Safariland 6365 holster, with a duty-grade pistol. The curriculum puts a premium on proven shooting strategies and movement techniques, and employs applicable drills to demonstrate and refine those skills. It is a movement-based course, so nearly all the shooting will be executed with a minimum of 90° turns, and most drills will involve multiple movements and setups per stages. The gun handling and marksmanship requirements will be challenging with the use of shot timers, distances of 7-25yds, restricted target availability and no-shoot targets, vision barriers, and aggressive movement. With those factors, we will exercise, explore, and refine high-performance shooting skills that are required for a LEO to be victorious in an armed confrontation.

At specified times during the course and within the parameters of safety, you will be highly encouraged to go at an exploratory pace and expand your potential, at true maximum speed. That concept will be explained in detail and demonstrated. This will be taught, and demonstrations done from a Safariland 6300 Series SLS/ALS with all retention engaged.

Student requirements:

•              Minimum 1500rds

•              Duty belt 

•              Minimum of four 15+ capacity magazines, 8 if less than 15 rd. magazines

•              Oil and any necessary weapons maintenance equipment.

•              Electronic hearing protection

•              Clear and tinted eye protection

•              Duty clothing suitable for the weather

DO NOT register for this class until you have approval from your department, or are paying for it yourself. It as it has caused issues in the past with filling the class with paying students.
