This Pistol/Carbine Workshop course will be instructed by Matt Jacques of Victory First. The course is going to cover all aspects of carbine deployment and operation, as well as techniques for transitioning to a handgun when required.
This is a course that will improve upon current skill levels, economy of movement, deployment and efficiency.

- Safety
- Equipment selection and considerations
- Reloads (Carbine and Handgun)
- Clearing malfunctions
- Transitions: Emergency transition, reload post engagement, return to preferred primary)
- Multiple threats / threat selection
- Movement while shooting
Student Equipment Needs:
- Duty Carbine + 3 magazines
- Duty Handgun + 4 magazines (6 for 1911 .45 drivers)
- Rifle sling, must be able to allow rifle to hang.
- Holsters – Duty rig or concealment (However you run at work.)
- Spare batteries for optics (if required)
- Wrap around Eye Protection
- Ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Baseball style hat
- Range food / WATER
- Seasonal weather gear / rain gear
- Ability to retain 2 pistol magazines, 1 rifle magazine on your body
- 600 rounds of factory rifle ammunition (20 rounds of DUTY ammunition for zero confirmation)
- 300 rounds of factory pistol ammunition
- Note taking material
- Cleaning kit / lubrication
