Scott began his law enforcement career in 2003 with the Pasadena Police Department.  He has worked various assignements to include Patrol, Narcotics, Personnel & Training and SWAT.  Scott is currently assigned to the Training Unit, where he has served as a firearms instructor since 2015.  In addition, Scott has been on the SWAT team since 2009 and is currently a Team Leader.  

Scott holds several instructor certificates including but not limited to TCOLE Instructor; TCOLE Firearms Instructor; Shoothouse instructor; Less Lethal Instructor; CQB Instructor and Night Vision Instructor.  Scott has attended many other schools and has been teaching courses to law enforcement since 2011.  Scott also holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate with TCOLE. 

Scott is also a Regional Director for Region 2 of the TTPOA.
