Lewis Remington has worked for the Irving Police Department since 1996. He has served as Patrolman, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Traffic Commander, SWAT Commander, and his current assignment as Patrol Watch Commander. He holds a Master Peace Officer License and a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Tarleton University. He completed the School of Police Supervision at the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration and the Executive Leadership Series at Caruth Police Institute.
Lewis also served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Field Artillery Fire Direction Controlman and Primary Marksmanship Instructor.
