I have been a full time member of the Austin SWAT Team since 2024. I am a TCOLE certified firearms instructor and currently serve as a sniper on our team. 

In 2024, I began competing in USPSA matches and in 2026 I achieved Grand Master in carry optics. Up until I started shooting competitively, I thought I was a good shooter, but competition quickly humbled me and opened my eyes to the depth of skill required to perform under pressure.

That experience sent me down the path of practical shooting and continuous improvement. Along the way, I learned valuable lessons that were never covered in the police academy. My goal as an instructor is to share those lessons and help other officers understand not only the importance of developing hard skills, but also how to actually do it through deliberate, focused, and measurable training.
