I have been a Full time SWAT Officer in a large Department in Central Texas for the last 5 years, and I have been a Police Officer for 10 years. Prior to that I spent 7 years in the US Army as a EOD Officer. I have devoted much of my time and energy into Firearms and Tactics training throughout my career. I am a TCOLE Firearms Instructor, Explosive Breacher, and currently serve as a Team Leader for SWAT. I have shot USPSA for some time, Earning a Master Class rating in both Carry Optics and Production Division. I believe in placing a strong empasis in hard skills so they are available to the inidividual when the tactics deliver you to a problem. Tactics don't solve problems, they prevent additional problems from forming. Individuals solve problems.
