2026 TTPOA Pirkle Sniper Challenge
Overview
The 2026 TTPOA Pirkle Sniper Challenge is an annual skill-building competition for law enforcement and military snipers, honoring the legacy of LE sniper training pioneer Sergeant Kelley Pirkle.
It's open to 2-person sniper teams, both members acting as snipers with precision rifle (no dedicated spotter role).
This two-day event is physically demanding, with courses of fire involving realistic scenarios, varied distances, precision shooting under stress, multi-position shots and team communication challenges. It's suitable for both novice and veteran teams.
We at TTPOA encourage teamwork and professional networking. Only certified law enforcement, federal LE, reserves, or active military personnel qualify—full membership details are on the TTPOA site.
VENDORS: There will be no vendor show on site for this Challenge, however there are levels of sponsorship available to highlight your company and products to show our community/supporters. See below for more info.
ATTN: Sig P320 Pistol Platform - Given recent incidents involving the Sig P320 pistol and the potential for unintentional discharge, the TTPOA is banning its use in the Competitions until further notice.
