The Ascension T&C Instructors bring a very simple, Principles Based approach to teaching CQB. Having both served in the Army’s sole Tier I Unit where Precision Marksmanship, 100% no-fail Target Discrimination, and rapid decision making under stress were a must, our CQB Program of Instruction will improve you and your Unit’s ability to successful complete The Mission. Our Instructors have not only executed these Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures in combat zones; they were chosen to be instructors for Tier I and Tier II candidates in the Army SOF community. We will effectively demonstrate, teach, and communicate how to become efficient through our intensive Program of Instruction. This course is methodically developed to implement one skill at a time, allowing our clients to digest the information and put the skill into practical application. We teach clients how to think, not what to think. As the course progresses, the problems become more complex. We conduct training iterations with SIMMUNITIONS on paper, and then reinforce the fundamentals and teaching points against live role players during FORCE on FORCE. No tactic is vetted until it is proven against an armed enemy with the will to fight.

(i) Thorough understanding of the Principles of CQB (Surprise, Speed, Violence of Action)

Student requirements:

Full tactical entry kit; helmet, vest, etc

Carbine w/ SIMS, UTM, man marking adapter kit

Pistol w/ SIMS, UTM, man marking adapter kit

CLEAR EYE PRO and whatever personal protection equipment you want or are required by your department for FORCE on FORCE training.

75 rds of man-marking carbine ammo

20 rds of man-marking pistol ammo

NO LIVE AMMUNITION is needed for this class
