Course Description:
The TTPOA with the collaboration of Feathered Serpent resolutions Group and Tactical Bus Driving will be hosting a 24-hour Armored Vehicle Operations Course March 23-25th, 2027 in San Antonio, Texas. This 24-hour Instructor level course is designed for team leaders, drivers, and anyone who creates/implements training for tactical teams utilizing armored vehicles.
AVO is a course focused on exposing students to the offensive and defensive tactical capabilities of armored vehicles. The course will focus on deployment methods of the armored vehicle, used to maximize safety for the team and civilians. High-risk situations requiring the use of an armored vehicle will be covered in depth. This course will provide an in-depth analysis of training (material creation and implementation), warrant planning, equipment set-up, breaching options, driving, gas-deployments, mobile shield usage, shooting platforms in-around the armored vehicle, and liabilities with the use of armored vehicles. Live fire will be conducted as the class explores the importance of knowing the capabilities of the vehicle in different real-world scenarios. Classroom portions will include video diagnostics, ballistic capabilities, deployment considerations and the building/intergration of training. Students will leave with a full packet to include lesson plans, powerpoint, and course materials to assist building training.

Prerequisites:
This course will require a level of physical activity. Participants will be expected to participate during the physical (shooting) drills, driving drills, and operations planning included in this course.
Bring a good attitude, open mind, and willingness to participate to the best of your ability
Bring ALL tactical equipment to include:
Body armor
Plate carriers
Helmet
Wrap around eye protection and ear protection
Gas mask
Gloves
Handheld light
Duty pistol (w/ weapon mounted light if possible and 3 magazines) 300 rounds of pistol ammo ; Duty rifle (w/ optic, sling, BUIS, and 3 magazines)
300 rounds of rifle ammo.
