Course Overview
Feathered Serpent Resolutions Group (FSRG) and TTPOA are excited to announce a specialized course on Dignitary Protection Operations involving Tactical Teams. This course is designed for law enforcement professionals seeking to enhance their skills in high-risk security operations. Participants will engage in hands-on training scenarios, collaborate with experienced instructors, and gain valuable insights into effective coordination between dignitary protection teams and tactical units.
Topics Covered
This course will cover the essential skills and techniques for dignitary protection, threat assessment, and close protection tactics, along with advanced SWAT strategies and team integration practices. Topics to be covered include:
- Operations planning
- Reconnaissance strategies
- Coordinating with security detail
- Plain clothes operations
- Tactical team integration in security details
Pre-requesites
- Law Enforcement or Military personnel who engage in Dignitary Security Operations
- Assigned to or work closely with tactical team
- Engage in high risk operations planning on routine basis
Equipment Needed
- Tactical loadout (Plate carrier, operational belt, pistol, rifle, helmet, clothing)
- Set of plain clothes with coat or overshirt for concealed holster w/ department approved plain clothes weapon (if applicable)
- Eye and ear Protection
- Duty Pistol w/ 400 Pistol Rounds
- Duty Rifle w/ 400 Rifle Rounds
- Simunition, UTM or other NLTA equipment and required safety gear w/ 250 Pistol & 250 Rifle Rounds
