This course is all about the execution of fundamentals at speed.  We will find what "looks right" and what "feels right" for you as the shooter.  The emphasis will start with the isolation of the pertinent things that are mandatory to get the gun to act in a predictable way.   We have to pay attention to what is happening and stop looking at the target after a string of fire and "trying to figure it out".

We will then progress to focusing on efficiency - doing the “non-shooting” things sooner so that you don’t feel like you have to be faster (stealing time). All the while establishing "enough” visual confirmation to put rounds where you want them to go with a high degree of speed and accuracy.

We will have progressions that are all encompassing for a person that carries a gun for a living.  We will map out things to work on in isolation so that you can then ultimately layer them into your "training approach".  You’ll see that giving yourself permission to push to the point of failure is the way to find out what is causing that failure.

This is not a parlor trick class. We will run practical courses of fire that will mimic OIS situations. These will include aggressive movement/weapons handling and personal accountability.

Ultimately, we will tie our brains to the few simple things that are required to shoot a handgun with speed AND accuracy.

This class will include an LE Hit Factor match on Saturday 9/20.

The match will consist of 6 stages, all of which will be designed and built by Jimmy Cade with ETTS.   Round count for the match is around 180.

This will expose LEO’s to practical shooting and let them see firsthand how beneficial practical shooting is to the LE world.

• RDS equipped handgun & at least 3 magazines
• Belt/Holster/Mag pouch
• Eye/Ear protection
• 1000 rds of quality ball ammo (extra is A-okay !!)
• Food/water to sustain a full day of training
