This course was built for the LEO to confidently engage targets from 10 yds out to 300 yds with an AR15 style rifle equipped with a LPVO. Students will learn the capabilities of their carbine from running it aggressively at close distances to confidently engaging at extended distances with increased precision. The use of hasty barricades and positional shooting will be covered to demonstrate the importance of connection to the rifle.
By the end of the course, students will be confident in their ability to utilize their carbine with a LPVO in a tactical environment. They will understand their capabilities, in addition to having a deeper knowledge on how to train. Students will have resources provided, including but not limited to, the class Powerpoint, LE LPVO qual and LE LPVO standards.
This course is designed for LE who have an AR15 style rifle with a low power variable optic (LPVO). Attendees must understand firearms safety as well as weapon manipulation.
