Mike has served as a civilian representative on the TTPOA Training Advisory Board since 2025. He has been an educator for almost 30 years with training and experience working with students of all ages who have a variety of needs related to dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has worked in public and private schools as well as in private practice in New York, Connecticut, and Texas. He he has degree in Special Education, Reading, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech Univerity.
