A police officer with over 24 years of experience with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).  Spent the first 6½ years with SAPD on patrol and was a patrol rifleman, field training officer (FTO) and a member of the Dignitary Protection Detail.  From 2006-2022 was assigned to the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and had the responsibilities of preparing raid plans for warrants and gas plans for critical incidents.  Also a member of the SWAT training cadre, responsible for training the team on firearms, hostage rescue, less lethal and chemical agents.  A 2021 graduate of the FBI Hazardous Devices School and has been assigned to the SAPD Bomb Squad since 2023.
