Peter Johnson is a nationally recognized law enforcement trainer and has been traveling the country to provide active shooter response training for thousands of individuals, including state, local, and federal law enforcement since 2014. Additionally, Peter co-founded a tech start up in 2019 specializing in Immersive Generative Training, leveraging the power of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR) technology platforms. Prior to moving into the private sector, Peter served five years as a Federal Air Marshal where he was an International Team Leader conducting counter-terror missions and surveillance around the globe, achieving the "Top Gun" award at the Federal Air Marshal Academy in 2010. Peter served six years in the United States Air Force in Air Base Defense, deploying internationally for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). He also served stateside as a pre-deployment trainer, combat arms instructor, and assisted the Inspector General's Office in testing base defense vulnerabilities. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a heavy emphasis on Counter-Terrorism, his undergrad culminated with his capstone research focused on the Radicalization of Somali Youth in Minneapolis.
