The TTPOA Swat Competition is a 4 day SWAT Competition comprised SWAT team members and active military from all over the United States. The Competition is team oriented and geared to test your teams communication, precision shooting, physical endurance, and tactical abilities. Most events are blind and officers receive critical information just before each event begins. This simulates real world intelligence and stress.
The venue for the competition varies from city to city as the hosting agency. There is a two day vendor show on the Thursday and Friday of the competition. Officers also receive TCOLE training hours for participating in the competition. To compete, you need to be a TTPOA Member. Team Membership Dues are $200 for the entire team for the year. Registration for the event opens May 1st. You need a minimum of a 5 person team. You are allowed a 6th person as an alternate and a coach if need be. Registration for the competition is $500 for the entire team ($50 additional for one coach who does not compete).
Team members must be certified Law Enforcement or Active Military. Out of state teams are welcomed. We have had teams from as far as Louisiana, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Florida travel to compete at the TTPOA Competition. (First time out of state teams contact the event coordinator for details and promos)
