This course is specifically geared towards WOMEN as tactical shooters.
This is a one-day course in which students will demonstrate basic CQB principles in room clearing using 2 man/ 4 man teams. Students will learn basic small team tactics, room entry, low light tactics, threat acquisition and force on force scenarios.

Duty Belt, Handheld light (weapon mounted light is optional but encouraged), Eye protection
**Blue Simmunition Guns will be provided with Simm rounds. Soft body armor, long sleeve shirts and gloves are recommended for force on force scenarios.***
Instructor Biography
Jennifer Schattle joined the Houston Police Department in 2013. She was assigned to Patrol from 2013-2016 and the South Central Divisional Tactical Unit from 2016-2019. She was a part-time member of HPD SWAT 2018-2021 successfully completing Basic SWAT School, Advanced SWAT School, and Operator Training Course. She has a M.Ed. of Secondary Education Degree and is currently assigned to the Houston Police Academy as a Firearms Instructor for Officers and Cadets. Officer Schattle is also a competitive shooter with the HPD Marksmanship Team and is the third female in department history to achieve a Distinguish Expert score on the qualification course on both revolver and semi-automatic pistol.
