Master Tactical Breacher (MTB)
11 Day Hands-on Training
This course consists of two parts:
(1) 6 Days - Tactical Explosive Breacher Certification (TEBC) – Basic / Intermediate
(2) 5 Days - Manual, Mechanical, Ballistic, Thermal, Hydraulic (MMBTH) Breacher Course
NOTE: IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR EXPLOSIVE PORTION OF THIS CLASS, YOU MUST BE ASSIGNED TO A SWAT/SRT OR BOMB SQUAD UNIT THAT IS TASKED WITH PERFORMING THESE DUTIES.
Description: The 11 day Tactical Master Breacher Certification Course is comprised of two separate courses. 6 day tactical explosive breacher certification course and 5 day manual, mechanical, ballistic thermal, and hydraulic Breacher Certification Course. Officers can choose to attend one of these 2 courses or both. If they complete both courses within 2 calendar years, they will acquire our tactical master breacher certification.
