All students MUST have already attended the 4-day Safariland Less Lethal Instructor Course within the last 3 years (OC Aerosol, Less Lethal Impact Munitions, Chemical Munitions and Distraction Devices).  

Renew Your Instructor Credentials in 2 Days. Update your Defense Technology 4-day Instructor Program credentials for another three years... for less time and for less money. This course combines classroom lecture and range drills, with an emphasis on instructor development and tactics and includes comprehensive instruction in the technical, operational and tactical applications of OC, Less Lethal Munitions, Chemical Agents and Distraction Devices. NOTE: This course is exclusively for Certified Law Enforcement and Military. Identification will be checked at the door and only credentialed officers will be granted admittance. • Flame- and/or cut-resistant gloves
• Gas mask
• Department 37mm gas launcher (recommended)
• 40mm single or multiple gas launcher (recommended)
• Body Armor (Concealable or Tactical)
