Tactical Elite Training Academy ​has establish a curriculum and training schedule above all standards to provide Law Enforcement Officers with Tactical training established for special situations.
The Tactical Patrol Officer Certification is based on the belief that effective police response to violent on-going life threatening situations is enhanced when first responding officers have commonalities of training, tactics, equipment, verbiage and capabilities.
The Tactical Patrol Officer is a training and recognition initiative to train officers in a core group of tactical skill sets that will better prepare them when confronted with unexpected, on-going violent criminal events. The skill sets learned will assist officers not only when confronted with a violent criminal event, but will enhance their daily survival and tactical capabilities.COURSE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING BLOCKS OF INSTRUCTION:

Equipment Needed:
1. Holster, Duty Belt, and Gear (Holster must be Duty-Style, strong side draw, equipped with a retention system and properly secured to Duty Belt. Tactical Leg Drop Holsters are accepted.)
2. Law Enforcement Duty-Style Patrol Rifle equipped with a sling and at least 3 magazines with a capacity of at
least 20 rounds.
3. Law Enforcement Duty-Style Handgun with at least 3 magazines with a capacity of at least 15 rounds.
4. Ammunition – 250 rounds of factory Rifle Ammo and 500 rounds of factory Handgun Ammo
5. Eye and Ear Protection, Hat – Students must wear shatterproof eye protection, over the ear hearing protection,
and a cap with a bill to deflect ejected brass.
6. Knee and Elbow Pads – Knee and Elbow pads are optional for kneeling and prone position shooting but are
strongly recommended.
7. Ballistic Vest – Exterior plate carrier are preferred for training exercises but not required.
8. Appropriate Clothing- Students should bring appropriate clothing to participate in the range exercises
consistent with prevailing weather conditions. Range exercises will be conducted in inclement weather unless
safety hazards exist.
9. Duty Flashlight – Law Enforcement hand held duty flashlight capable of one-hand operation.
10. Notebook and Marker – A small pocket spiral notebook, pen or pencil, and a blue marker.
11. Cleaning Equipment – Bring cleaning equipment for your firearms and make sure they are clean and
serviceable for training.
