Course Description:

Dallas PD SWAT will be hosting its (3) day Hostage Rescue Entry class on March 25-27, 2025, at our training facility.

This class will focus on multiple styles of searching that are designed to give the operator the maximum chance of success for a given incident. This will be facilitated by a lot of reps in each discipline moving from walk-throughs and discussions into SIMS against paper and culminating in force on force with live role players. This is not a class that asks you to just mimic movements, we do go over movements and tactics that are utilized for a given scenario. We discuss not only the how but why you would do this rather than another technique. All training and tactics that will be discussed are the product of our experiences in responding to real-world Hostage Rescue Incidents. There is a very minimal classroom in this class. The vast majority of time will be spent on the floor with instructors going over TTPs. Come ready to train at a fast pace with a lot of reps and feedback.
