3-day Breaching Instructor Course

Manual, Mechanical, Ballistic Breaching Course   (24 hrs.)

In today’s law enforcement environment, officers may face elevated risks during hostage rescues, critical incidents, raids involving violent offenders, and the service of high-risk warrants. Tactical response teams and patrol officers must be prepared with the skills, judgment, and equipment needed to gain safe and effective entry when circumstances require it.

This course builds safe, effective breaching skills through classroom instruction and practical application in controlled training conditions. The objective of this course is to enhance and develop officers into proficient instructors in manual, mechanical, and shotgun ballistic breaching. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped to educate and train fellow officers and tactical team operators for environments requiring forced entry during high-risk felony warrants, narcotic warrants, and other critical incidents.
