Course Overview

TTPOA and Corpus Christi PD SWAT are excited to host Feathered Serpent Resolutions Group (FSRG) for a 4-Day Breaching Instructor Course. This course is designed for law enforcement officers seeking to become proficient in various breaching techniques to take back to their respective agency. Participants will learn how to teach back techniques learned during their course. 32 Hrs of TCOLE Credit will be provided.

Topics Covered

This course will cover the essential breaching skills and techniques to include:

-          Manual Breaching (Ram, Pry, etc.)

-          Ballistic Breaching (Shotgun & Kinetic Breaching Tool)

-          Pulls using Armored Vehicle

-          Window Breaching

-          Equipment selection

-          Teaching strategies

Pre-requisites

-          Law Enforcement or Military personnel

-          Instructor experience (certification not required)

-          Tactical team association recommended but not required

Equipment Needed

-          Tactical loadout (Plate carrier, operational belt, pistol, rifle, helmet, clothing)

-          Breaching tools (Ram, Pry, Bolt Cutters

-          Eye and ear Protection

-          Duty Pistol w/ 100 rounds

-          Duty Rifle w/ 100 rounds

-          Breaching Shotgun and breaching rounds (if issued)
