LONG RANGE ENGAGEMENTS AND TACTICS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SNIPERS

The purpose of this course is to allow the law enforcement sniper access to tactics and strategiesthat will increase their confidence in long range engagements (100-500 yards).

This course will allow LEO snipers the opportunity to access tactics and strategies utilized in the precision rifle competition community to increase hit probabilities during long range engagements. The goal of the training is to allow the sniper to make engagements at ranges of 500 yards and closer with an emphasis on delivering speed and accuracy under stressful conditions. The class will start with a zero check and brief evaluation of the fundamentals of marksmanship and will progress to rapid target engagement, positional shooting, and wind estimation and correction calculations. The course will also utilize “through the scope video” so that the application of these techniques can be applied and viewed during real-time.
