Course Summary
This Practical Pistol course will be instructed by Nick Young of Velox Training Group. Nick’s brand of shooting so to speak is performance shooting. He started shooting very seriously around 2010. Starting off in 3 gun, Nick learned a lot about speed and accuracy with 3 different platforms. After shooting 3 gun for a few years, he began shooting PRS and Team DMR matches. From there, he’s done steel challenge and most recently USPSA where he made Master classification in 7 matches. What competing has shown Nick is how to train, and that's what his classes are all about. Showing people how to train. What to do in both dry fire and live fire, how to assess performance, coming up with training plans for people, etc. Nick’s goal with every class is to have people leave with 6 months to a year’s worth of homework.
