TTPOA in conjunction with the Dallas and Garland SWAT Teams are proud to announce we will be hosting a 24 hour Advanced Tactical Rappel/Static Fastrope course in Garland from April 15th - 17th, 2013. This course was developed to meet the needs of SWAT officers. This class that is a pre-requisite for the Rappel Master Class. 3 days of planning, instruction and real world tactical rappelling and climbing. Use of multiple venues as instruction sites and training sites. Rappel Master/Senior Corporal Keith Reig of the Dallas SWAT Team will be the lead instructor for the course and will be assisted by other Rappel Masters of the Dallas and Garland SWAT Teams.
HRST Master/Rappel Master Kevin Ross will instruct the Static Fastrope portion of the class.
Course will begin Monday April 15th @ 0800 at the Dallas Police Range located at 3200 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, Tx. 75236. |

| Climbing, rappelling, knots, equipment and techniques applicable to the SWAT officer's working enviroment. |

| Prerequisites |
| Basic rappel course and operational knowledge. Students must be certified peace officers or active military personnel, in good standing with their agency. Students must be able to provide agency ID on the first day of class. |

| Required Equipment |
| All normal tactical equipment including, BDU or other similar tactical uniform, rappel harness, rappel gloves, steel locking carabiner, rescue-8 and helmet. All other climbing gear and ropes will be supplied. |

| Payment Instructions/Host Hotel Information: |
The fee for the course is $300 for TTPOA members and $350 for non-members. Registration must be done on-line at http://www.ttpoa.org/ (Training Calendar). Payment should be made to TTPOA. Credit card payment is strongly recommended. Payments(checks)should be mailed to: Dan Colasanto, Garland Police Department,1891 Forest Lane, Garland,Texas 75042. There will be no refunds for cancellations after that date.
