| TTPOA in conjunction with Garland PD is proud to sponsor a 3 day Tactical Team Leader Course August 13 - 15 2012. The Corse will be held at the Garland Fire Training Facility.
Course will begin Monday@ 0800 at the Garland Fire Training Facility located at 1500 E. SH66, Garland,Texas. Classroom 417
Lt. Fred Curry and Lt. Mark Dillon have a combind 60 years of law enforcement experience. They each have over 20 years of SWAT experience. They both served as Team Leaders for The Garland PD SWAT team and after their promotions were made SWAT Team Lieutenants. They have planned and executed countless SWAT Operations to include Hostage Rescue, High Risk Warrants, Barricaded Persons, and Vehicle Assaults. They have also supervised the execution of these operations as well. |

Topics will include :
Leadership
Team Composition
Team Selection
Intelligence gathering and Scouting
Raid Planning and Execution
There will be a heavy emphasis on raid planning.
Students will plan several potential targets that they will be required to scout, video, plan and brief the class on. Finally, students will participate in a series of culmination training exercises that will reinforce the information learned during the classroom sessions. |

| Prerequisites |
| Due to the nature of this course, we ask that only experienced SWAT Team members sign up, preferably those who are in leadership positions such as team leaders or assistant team leaders. |

| Required Equipment |
| All tactical equipment. All students with simunition kits are strongly encouraged to bring them along with 200 rounds of simunition ammo. |

The fee for the course is $300 for TTPOA members and $350 for non-members. All fees are due by August 6, 2012. There will be no refunds for cancellations after August 6, 2012. Class size is limited.
