| Domestic and foreign terrorist training compounds located within our boarders have traditionally been situated in isolated rural settings. This, combined with the challenging aspects of apprehending violent suspects escaped into rural environments, emphasizes the necessity of rural operations capabilities. |

| Prerequisites |
| This is a closed course limited to Harris County Sheriff's Office law enforcement personnel only. Due to the sensitive nature of this course, all students will be required to provide agency I.D.'s. on the first day of class. |

| Required Equipment |
| All normal tactical equipment that your agency requires you to have. A long weapon with sling, light mounted weapon preferred. A handgun with tactical rig, Gas mask, B.D.U. type uniform, tactical boots, eye & ear protection. |
