Course Details:
 

This unique course is designed to provide law enforcement officers with the ability to respond to high stress, short duration critical incidents where they are faced with an unanticipated, deadly threat at close range.  The class will deal with critical stress and the physiological effects associated with such an event as well as the techniques for mitigating those affects. 

                      

 
Course Topics:
 The course will include:
  • Core shooting skills using Airsoft training weapons. 
  • Close Quarter Battle with armed adversaries.
  • Eye/Hand manipulation techniques
  • Shoot, move and communicate under stress techniques to survive a lethal attack at close range.
 
Prerequisites

Due to the sensitive material covered in this course, all students must be either Active/Reserve Military or Law enforcement certified.  Students will be asked show proof of credentials on the first day of the course.

 

Training Location: Harris County Sheriff's Office Firearms Complex,  2350 Atascocita Rd , Humble TX 77396

**Turn left at the Academy Buliding, follow the road to the range located on the left side of the road.**

Class will start at 0800hrs.

 
Required Equipment
  
  • Some padded clothing is suggested but not required.  These will be force on force scenarios
  • Gloves, thick shirt, your own custom eye protection if you prefer
  • Men (groin protection
  • Women (groin protection and padded bra)

Payment should be made to TTPOA.  Credit card payment is strongly recommended.  Payments (checks) should be mailed to: Lonnie Tullos, 7014 Lake Cove Point, Spring, Tx 77379.  No refunds will be extended for cancellations after Feb. 10th, 2010.    All refunds will include a processing fee (to cover our expenses for the transaction)
